Immerse yourself in the captivating world of figurative sculpture in this hands-on workshop. Explore the process of transforming clay into three-dimensional artworks that capture the essence of the human body form.

About the class: Utilize the “Sight Size” sculpture technique as you, the artist, position the sculpture and the subject in such a way that the sculpture appears proportionally accurate to a live nude model. This technique demands observation and attention to detail, allowing the artist to capture the subject’s likeness and anatomical features.

The workshop is geared towards intermediate-level sculptors, however, we can accept up to four beginning-level sculptors.

Cost for 8-week course: $420

The workshop will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM from March 23 to May 25, 2024 on Saturdays. Class will not be held on April 6 and April 20.

The gender of the model is alternated each 8 week workshop.

Includes clay, wood platform, model, instruction. Firing and storage available for an additional service fee.
